Ursula is formally the owner and director of the Ursula Cauffiel School of Music in Toledo, Ohio. She has taught hundreds of students from age 3 through seniors to play piano whether it be for their own fun and enjoyment or for a career in music. Students will be able to play songs within their first lesson. With Ursula's positive and caring approach to teaching students of all ages and abilities, students will be able to master many aspects of music. Students will be able to read notes, play tunes by ear, improvise, understand and write musical theory concepts and perform music whether it be popular or advanced classical. It is very important when seeking a teacher that the instructor is skilled in teaching. If a student is not taught correctly or efficiently how to play, habits can develop without the students knowledge. This can inhibit the student's ability to master the instrument. Kindness and patience from the teacher are paramount for the student's success. If a teacher is rude or impatient, often the student equates the behavior in thinking music is not for them.
