I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music from ASU and 8 years of teaching experience. I am the owner of my own instruction business in which I travel to students’ homes to give lessons.
I have extensively studied piano for many years, receiving individualized instruction in theory and composition from renowned ASU faculty. My solo piano music has been recorded and released on an album, which can be seen at www.timglemser.com. I’ve performed leading roles in numerous opera and musical theater productions with the Lyric Opera Theater at ASU. Although I have a classical background in vocal and piano performance, I strive to emphasize the importance of sight-reading training, expressive creativity and musical imagination. I am experienced with teaching a wide variety of ages, personalities, and ability levels. Incentives are used for younger students, and I hold 2 recitals per year.
