I am a nationally certified teacher of music with Music Teachers National Association. I received a Bachelor of Instrumental music degree from ASU in 1971. My major instrument was piano. I have studied piano with master teachers such as Jane Tan, Francisco Aybar, and Dan Hooper. I am a member of East Valley Music Teachers Association and Desert Vally Music Teachers Association. In addition to private lessons, I run a computer lab featuring software for ear training, theory concepts, and music history. The students have their private lesson and then afterwards, they go into the lab and do an assignment. I do one big studio recital a year in May and do group lessons 4 times a year. I have participated in the Arizona Study Program for many years. Currently I have around 16 students.
