Marti is patient, experienced, and works well with children, teen and adult students. With more than 25 years of teaching experience, she has taught private piano lessons and is certified through the International Piano Teaching Foundation. She is also a licensed Kindermusik educator, has taught Kindermusik classes, and has tauhgt music at the Grace Presbyterian Val-Ann Preschool in Littleton, Colorado. She has many years' experience as a teacher of children's music in her church, as a pianist, and as an accompanist for vocalists, solo instrumentalists, ensembles, high school, middle school and church choirs. She also plays the organ and directs music. She has studied piano privately for 13 years and has taken numerous music courses from Brigham Young University, University of Arizona, Arizona State University, Citrus College and California State University at San Bernardino.
