Music has been a defining influence in my life, and I hope to bring the joy of music to my students. I strongly believe that being a well rounded musician is important, and in addition to typical piano instruction, I also include composition, improvisation, music history, extensive music theory, and performance opportunities. I take a multi sensory approach and students hear, feel, play, and say/sing the music in the lessons. I am in my last year of my Bachelor of the Arts in Music Therapy at ASU as a vocal major and have been working with children for the past four years as a habilitator, camp counselor, and piano teacher. I am a member of MTNA and Desert Valley Music Teacher's Association.
