Eileen has been sharing her love for music with students for the past 25 years. Weekly hour-length lessons are offered for all levels, ages 6 to adult. In addition to the private lesson, students work on music theory, ear-training, sight-reading, and music composition in the computer/keyboard lab. Monthly group classes are also offered, to give students confidence in performing. Students have the opportunity to gain performance experience by participating in PMTA events such as Fall Festival, Music at the Mall, Piano Ensemble, and the Student Recital Series.
Mrs. Evans holds a Bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance/Pedagogy from Brigham Young University, and is a member of MTNA, ASMTA, and PMTA. She also recently earned her certification as a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music from the Music Teacher’s National Association. Mrs. Evans also has experience accompanying instrumentals, soloists, church and community choirs.
Eileen inspires her students to do their very best, and believes that learning to play the piano is a skill they can use for the rest of their lives in blessing others.
